Inventory Management is the ability to catalog and monitor POPs which belong to the enterprise and third-parties by placing them into an inventory system.
A company of any size is likely to have multiple domains, at least one website, and multiple social media points-of-presence to represent its business to parties outside the enterprise (e.g. the public). Most companies are likely to have one or more spreadsheets where they attempt to keep of track these corporate assets. However, the spreadsheet is a static tool with minimal access controls which requires manual effort to keep up to date.
It is not uncommon for a larger enterprise to have hundreds, if not thousands, of domain names, multiple websites (e.g. for products), and hundreds or thousands of social media points-of-presence. A spreadsheet is just not up to the task of managing such an inventory.
The Brandle Presence Manager at its core is an inventory management system for corporate points-of-presence augmented by an automated brand presence discovery and inventory monitoring. A company's inventory is divided into two sections: Corporate Property and Third-Party Property.
