An organization may need to oversee more than just their own points-of-presence, for this reason the Inventory supports two major sections: Corporate and Third-Party.
Corporate Property is for POPs which represent some aspect of the enterprise and are thus the property of the corporation. The company's main Twitter account would be an example of corporate property.
Third-Party Property is POPs that are the property of third parties, but which the enterprise may need to track and monitor (e.g. if you are in a regulated industry like banking) or would like to monitor for brand standards and authenticity of claims. An employee's LinkedIn profile, a certified partner's website that lists your logo, or a Facebook page used to market an agent's business would be an example of corporate property.
