What is a Domain Report?

Companies often have domains registered at multiple registrars, often using a range of contact information for the Registrant, Administrative and Technical contacts. This often happens for various reasons, e.g.: divisions in different countries, acquisitions, people using personal accounts to protect a new name, etc. However, its relatively easy for a company to lose track of a domain name (e.g. we've found domains registered to contacts where the employee is no longer at the company or the email addresses are no longer valid).

The Brandle Presence Manager is designed to give you a holistic view of inventory of domain names, regardless of registrar used. A domain report will show you a summary of:

• Different registrars used
• Organizations to which domains are registered
• Names to which domains are registered 
• Organizations to which domains are registered
• Emails to which domains are registered
• Emails which use the main corporate domain

This information will highlight the exceptions to standard domain name registration policies so a company can catch a problem before it becomes a problem. The report is generated as an Excel spreadsheet.
